Dear LJ,
Good afternoon, how have things been?
Here are today's clear views :
*
Jones SodaRecently, at a local
Big Lots, I came across some of the drinks in the
Jones Organics line. I found 4 of the 6 flavors they had, on sale for 60 cents each. I had never tried them and was glad to see they had them. This particular product is tea : they have 2 green, 2 white and 2 red (e.g. rooibos). I've tried 1 green and 1 red so far.
Jones also recently announced they would be using cane sugar as the main sweetener for all their drinks in the future, beginning this year. Cane sugar is pure sugar, and also has no GMO's (genetically-modified organisms) in it.
* And they came to the river
Earlier this week, when the weather was nice my friend
Scott and I walked along the
Olentangy river, something I myself had never done before. They have a bike trail and some wooded and marshland areas, randomly, there. Geese, a cemetery just off the path, and a few people also with the same idea as us provided for distinct scenery. We brought our cameras with us and took some pictures.
* Pictures
... and here they are! I uploaded them to my
Flickr account. Some of the pictures are from other sources, as well. Just recently,
Flickr introduced something in which one could change the layout of the main page. There are only 3 options right now, but it was nice to see. Ironically, of the 3, I myself prefered the default one which they had used beforehand, heh.

The ReapingYesterday evening, courtesy a (3rd) free pass from a local radio station, my friend John and I went to see this particular movie. It was 'horror' one with Hillary Swank in it. The passes were available in many locations, so the theatre was, literally, filled to the brim.
Naturally, the movie wasn't exciting at all. Being a genre, 'horror' films often have narrow, dare I say boring 'standards' to follow. The special effects were something interesting - I have a lengthy story I have envisioned, myself about a child with extra-sensory powers (as was, in a completely different way, represented in this movie). For an interesting recent 'scary' film, I myself would recommend
The Host.
* Poll results
Here are the results of last week's poll. Thanks to all who voted! The question was "How many mp3s, if any, do you currently have on your computer?" The choices were : 0-750, 751-1500, 1500-2250, over 2250 or "I usually listen to music another way, or n/a". The top choice was "over 2250", with 50% of those surveyed voting for that. I myself have about 2800, currently. Music is popular!
Here is a copy of this week's :
Okay. Have a good evening!
Take care,
* Geoff
